Mother Daughter Shared Office

When my daughter was 4, we changed a room in our home into a shared office space for her and I to do art, play, learn, and get down to business. With limited space and natural light, I was able to create a cozy, fresh space that sparks creativity.
This space is playful in nature, while remaining functional and calm. I love how much bigger the space seems with the navy blue wall, and the birch tree vinyl decals add so much character, bringing in a little nature in a storybook kind of way. The addition of live houseplants brings calm and warmth to the room.
Storage carts on casters and an L-shaped desk which can easily be rearranged gives us the versatility we need as my daughter grows older. Whimsical accents like unicorns and dinosaurs remind me that my daughter is in charge here.
Don't let this clean white surface fool you. Our office will never be this clean again.
